A new year: 24 years old in the year 2012

I'll start with my Birthday, which was such a great day. Pete woke me up with breakfast, coffee and presents in bed. He seriously spoiled me getting me a massage gift voucher, a retro phone ( we have had a land line this entire time, but no phone) as well as secretly putting together a photo album of our honeymoon. We then went for coffee and a movie. Later that night we had an appropriate Birthday meal of pizza and fries!

Making sure the phone works.

The photo album. It has photos from our trip to South America as well as Toronto and New York.

mmmm... fries

New Years Eve!
On new years, we first had a couple friends over at our place and then we all went over to another friends house. We played an intense game of Cranium and rang in 2012 singing auld lang syne an English tradition which I experienced for the first time.

I only have two photos from that night which Pete took and have no real signifigance but I needed something to show for new years.

I have a new thing with tables... nesting tables specifically. These glass brass ones are from Belgium.  Today I just taped random bits of paper and pages from a cartoon book on the bottom of the one table.

and these nesting tables Pete and I found in an antique shop for $5.00(replace that dollar sign with a pound sign.. I don't know were to find it)!

I hope everyone has a great new year! 2011 was the most busy, crazy and fun year for me, with graduating, getting married, travelling and moving to England.  Although it was amazing I hope this year is more relaxing :)

  4. Happy New Year! Thought of you and Pete so often over Christmas and then at birthday time. What a romantic you've got! I agree with Nana, he's a keeper. So glad you had a nice day. Love you.
PS, I have nesting tables like that, they were a wedding gift, so I guess they must be antiques!! (or perhaps it's me that is antique)
